We’re Mon & Ryan!

Welcome to our blog, and thank you for being here! We are Mon & Ryan, a Filipino-Aussie couple from Australia who have been living in Germany since 2020. We’ve travelled to 50+ countries while working our 9-to-5 jobs.

As travel content creators and bloggers, our goal for this blog is to help you plan your European travels with detailed itineraries and insights based on our personal experiences. We also aim to help you discover unique experiences and off-the-beaten-path destinations to make the most of this journey we call life.

  • I was born in the Philippines and my parents moved us to Australia when I was in high school
  • I spent 10 years in management consulting & strategy
  • During that time, I maxed out all my annual leave and applied unpaid leave to travel as much as I can. I did it during my first year there as a grad
  • I love being outdoors, planning our travels on a detailed spreadsheet and finding the best deals

  • I’m from a small country town in Australia called Robinvale and moved to Melbourne for university where I met Mon in 2013
  • I also spent 7 years in corporate supply chain, my job was the reason why we moved to Germany in 2020
  • I enjoy running, hiking, and sports – always ready for an adventure, whether it’s the beach or the mountains
  • I’m always up for trying different foods and experiences, and trying new things keeps my life interesting
