If you’re heading to southern Spain and this isn’t on your list… did you even go to Andalusia?!

📍Alhambra, Granada, Spain 🇪🇸

We went to Alhambra on a day trip from Cordoba, and although it is a bit of traveling, it’s worth it!

It is a well-known tourist spot and not necessarily underrated (maybe to European tourists) but maybe for people from Australia/Asia/US, it’s not so well known - but let us know if you’ve heard of this place in the commend below!

🕌 Things you should know before visiting the Alhambra:
- Book your tickets online as early as you can – they do sell out
- Don’t forget your passport or form of ID – they check it with your ticket, we used our license.
- Give yourself at least 3–4 hours to wander, it’s huge and on a really hot summer day, you’ll need the drink stops
- Wear comfy shoes!

🚄 How to do a day trip from Córdoba:
- Take a morning AVE train (1hr 40min) to Granada
- Grab a taxi or hop on the C30 bus straight to the Alhambra. Or walk - we did and took us 40 mins from the train station
- Book an evening train back (in advance), and squeeze in some tapas before you leave 🍷

Save this for your Spain planning! And if you’ve already been — did you like it?

We always forget that THIS is literally the whole point!

Although we can’t believe we went to Spain in mid-July with 40°C days — but if it weren’t for my (Mon’s) parents, we would’ve missed this underrated gem. Always grateful to be able to travel with our families 🤍

📍Cordoba - super underrated and a great alternative to Seville or Malaga!!

Are you team “pay and sit together” OR “save and sit apart”? Vote in the poll below! We’re curious 👀

Most of the time we save and sit apart but if flights are 3+ hours, we might sit together! Depends on our mood 😆

You can still save €30-40+ if you sit apart and that’s the price of a meal!

📍Obersee, Southern Germany 🇩🇪(Within the state of Bavaria)

Obersee is hands down one of the most beautiful lakes we’ve seen in Germany — crystal-clear water and epic mountain views!

It’s inside Berchtesgaden National Park, and getting there is a bit of an adventure.

This place is 2.5 hours from Munich and 40 mins from Salzburg so perfect for day trips!

Location below - send to someone who’s been dying to go to Spain!

📍Location: Córdoba, Spain

Where is Córdoba?
– It’s in southern Spain, in between Seville and Granada.
– Super easy to get to and the perfect stop on an Andalusia trip!

How do you get there?
– 45 min by fast train from Seville (or 1 hr from Malaga)
– ~2 hours by fast train from Madrid

Is it worth visiting?
– 100% yes — so underrated and WAY less busy than Seville and Granada.

How many days do you need?
– Atleast 2-3 days to see most of the city. A lot of locals, good restaurants and shopping!
— My (Mon) parents used this as a base for 2 weeks since it is cheaper and quieter staying here than Seville or Malaga!
— We did a day trip to Alhambra / Granada from here

Have you heard of Cordoba before? Vote in the poll and if you want an itinerary!
